Job Summary

The store Sales Associate's (Nutritional Counselor) primary purpose is to thoughtfully and responsibly provide exceptional customer service to store guests by uncovering their health and well-being goals, educating them on products, and driving sales to ensure guests are inspired and nourished.  This is accomplished by obtaining product knowledge, using proven sales techniques, and creating an inviting store atmosphere through merchandising, cleaning, product sampling, and register duties.  The goal is to provide exceptional customer service that elevates the health and well-being of our guests, and to ensure consistent financial growth.

Requirements:

  • Passion for health, well-being, and fitness
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of customer service and professional sales methods
  • High School diploma or equivalent combination of experience and instruction
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day
  • Demonstrated success in retail sales is preferred
  • Supplement and nutrition knowledge or education is preferred, but not required

Primary Duties:

  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships through proper execution of Hi-Health's sales process, promotions, and community outreach
  • Ensure that the Hi-Health Optim Rewards program is consistently promoted and the customer information is captured
  • Open and close store, following established procedures
  • Execution of store operations including stocking, cleaning, pricing, displaying, and register balancing
  • Maintain professional appearance and professional relationships that value diversity and teamwork
  • Achieve sales performance standards on a consistent basis
  • Participate in continuing education training sessions as scheduled
  • Follow management direction in completing other duties, as assigned
